In General Dentist, Implants

The old adage “You have to spend money to make money” applies to the introduction of implants into your practice even though it seems like a large financial undertaking initially. However, partnering with the right implant company and choosing the right training option will help relieve some of the up-front startup costs. When considering the introduction of implants into your practice, some hard data should be reviewed. First, the potential market place in the United States is gigantic; tooth loss is bigger than ever (Fig.1).

Many doctors are seeking ways to improve their practice revenue without cutting already thin expenses. Placing implants is the fastest way of accomplishing revenue growth because it increases case acceptance, helps plan more high profit procedures (see Fig 2 for cost/benefit analysis of placing implants), and increases the number of new patients. Implementing implant reconstruction in your practice leads to happier and healthier patients.
